Well i have made progress. I am now 4 cm!!!!!!!!!!! YAhhhhhhhhhhhhh, and i have been having contractions ever since my appointment, which was at 3:00 this afternoon. It is now 5:45. Let's hope that they keep coming.  If they do stop........... i have an induction scheduled for Wednesday at 7:00 am. So if Beau doesn't come on his own, I will for sure have him on WEdnesday!!!!!! yah only one more week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mrs. Kranky

For those of you who want to know...... I am still pregnant. This is by far the longest i have ever carried a baby. ( Blaise was 4 weeks early, Brogan  2 weeks early) Don't know what is going on.  but i can tell you one thing I am not a happy camper!!!!!! I know, this should be the most exciting time.  The baby is due in 6 days.......... so any day right?!?!?!.  Well I've been saying that for 3 weeks now.  Any day!?!?!?!?!?  People come up to me at church and say "you're still here?", "I thought you would have your baby by now.", "You look like your ready to pop." And so on.  I just smiled.   I go to the doctors again today.  So we'll see what she says.  I'm gonna ask her about induction!!!!!!  Cross your fingers for me and say a little prayer, that there is progress made and that this baby will come very very soon.  My poor husband and children need me back.  They are sick of Mrs Kranky!

Baby leggings

I'm sure all you hip mom's out there know what I'm talking about. Those cute but very expensive leg warmers for babies.  I love them!!!!!!  But i do not have $12-$15 to spend on each pair. So i found a way to make them.  They shouldn't be very difficult. You just buy some socks at the dollar store, or somewhere cheap, then you cut the socks in a couple different places and sew. I'm running out today to find some really cute socks.  I'll post some pictures when I'm done. Wish me luck!!!!

Week 37: UPDATE

I had my 37 week appointment yesterday, and all went well...i guess. Everyone that has been pregnant before knows the drill, get weighed, pee in a cup, have your blood pressure checked, get belly measured, and listen to baby's heart beat.  Well at your 37 week appointment you get the Strep B test done and then you usually get checked to see if you've made any progress.( Dilation and stuff.) I was so excited to see if i had dilated.

So i get there, get weighed, Notice I lost 2 pounds. I'm thinking to myself is that normal?!?!?! Lose 2 pounds in 2 weeks. ...... I then pee in a cup. All is well. Then it's time for my blood pressure. It was really high. Never had that before. Starting to worry alittle. I've lost weight my blood pressure is realy high. What next. Then my belly gets measured all is well again, and then i get to listen to the heart beat. It's usually in the 150-160's. It was in the 120's.  now i'm starting to worry. My Doctor who is amazing I might add, specializes in high risk pregnancies, so when she told me not to worry I believed her. She said that at the very end it's common for these things to happen. VERY END... yah I'm close. She then checks me, I am 2 cm dilated and only 50% effaced. So I at least know I'm making progress.  Not much longer!! A week or two tops!!!!!!!!!! Yah let's all cheer!!!!! I can't wait to meet this little guy!

Beau's Room

WEll, with only 3 more weeks until my due date, I thought I would tackle "The Babies Room." It's about time right?!?!?!?!! ( Better late than never) It took me FOREVER!!!!!!! to find a "theme" i guess you could say. What colors do i like, what accent colors do i want, Do i like bears, HECK NO, do i like cars NO WAY. I really don't like anything boyish!!! WEll after months of searching the web and looking to see what others do for baby rooms. I came up with a nature theme. I found this really cute picture of a bird mobile. I thought it looked easy so i went to my mom's and it took us about 8 HOURS to make it.  We'll Never do that again, but i love how it turned out. I also made Beau's name out of grape vines i had in my back yard. Love that too. I'm still in search for a really old bird cage, and a rug, and some drapes. So wish me luck. I have a lot to do before this baby arrives!!! Here are some pictures of the room so far.
