Crossing my fingers!

At first i was thrilled when the snow started to fall. How fun to have a white Christmas. But as the snow and ice days keep coming I'm getting very nervous.  Steven has a flight scheduled for tomorrow night. For those that live here in Oregon have you seen pdx!!! over 160 flights were cancelled just this morning. No planes are coming in or out of PDX!!!!! As of now! So that leaves me with a horrible pit in my stomach. What if Steven doesn't make it home for Christmas!?!!? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's not like it 's a birthday or Easter.......it's Christmas!!!!!!! The happiest day of the year.  I just hope the snow stops falling, (it's snowing outside as i type this entery!!) and that my hubby makes it home to us by Christmas!!!!!!!!! That's all i want for Christmas. Is for us to be together! Is that to much to ask?!?!?!? So i sit here with my fingers crossed, hoping and praying that Steven gets home!!!!!

Snowboarding

We took a little family trip to Mt. Hood last weekend. We got Blaise all the gear he needed to go snowboarding awhile ago, and decided this would be a good time to take him up for the first time. He loved it. And Blaise did AWESOME. He even went off a little jump and landed it and road down the rest of the hill. I was such a proud Mom. Go Blaise!!!!! Brogan on the other hand was crying the whole time. So he and i sat in the car the rest of the day. here are a few photos of the trip.

Haunted House!

I asked Blaise this year what he wanted to do for his birthday party. He told me that he wanted a Haunted House Birthday party. So that's what we did. We decorated our front room into a spooky haunted house. I made some yummy food too. Caramel apples, popcorn balls, bacon wrapped smokies, bean dip that look like a spider web.  And a lot more. We made a Spider Venom punch with dry ice.  The Kids loved that. We even had a ghost cupcake cake.  It was an awesome birthday party if i say so myself. Here are some pictures i took of the evening.

My popcorn balls.

Not Once but Twice...........

It was about a month ago when we had our first break in. I woke up  one  morning and got myself and the kiddos ready to run some errands.  We got in the car. I opened the driver door and saw my purse sitting on the driver's seat.  I didn't put that there. So i started to  look in it. My wallet..... It's gone! I then take the kids out of the car, and start looking in my house for my wallet. I tried to call Steven at work but he wasn't answering.  I thought maybe he took it.  By this time I started racking my brain.  Ok Keri where did you last use your wallet, where did you last see it.  I remembered using at Subway. That was the last place i used it. So i called them thinking i might of left it there. No, they didn't have my wallet. So i then thought, well where did i last see it. It took me about 10 minutes when i realized.  Late the night before i had a sweet craving, and i had an airhead in my purse. So i went out to the garage, and got my purse and was looking for the airhead. I saw my wallet and then i found the airhead. I then put my purse back on the floor where i usually keep it.  So, since i saw it the night before. I thought Steven must have taken it, maybe for lunch or something.   I called Steven over and over, until he finally answered. I told him i couldn't find my wallet, and did he have it or take it.  He said no. When then what the heck happened to it.   He then remembered, he left the garage open last night on accident. He closed it when he left for work that morning. DING DING. We were robbed.  I ran out to the garage to see what else was missing.  Paint ball guns, goggles tons of random stuff. We called the police, and they came over to take finger prints.  I was freaked out, for a while. I think Steven was too. We locked all the windows and made sure that our doors were always locked.  But after a month or two we started to get a little lazy. Steven forgot to lock the outside door to the garage. And what do you know..... we were robbed again!!!!!!! This time they took a lot more expensive stuff, tools, snowboards, jackets, our gps, Steven's wallet and more. AHHHHHHHHH why does this keep happening. That same night people in our ward that live just down the street got robbed too. But the intruders went into their house and stole a huge flat screen tv.  I do not feel safe in my house anymore.  What if they came into our house too. I know that our door to the garage was open. It freaks me out to think while we are all upstairs sleeping that there were strangers  in our garage taking whatever they wanted, and maybe even took a peek into our house. CREEPY!!!!! So now every night, i lay in bed terrified that they will come again. I wake up in the middle of the night and hear little noises, and get freaked out. Oh my gosh they're back.  Steven has been getting up in the middle of the night and walking the streets to see if he sees anything. Nothing yet, but we are going to catch these guys. Steven is sooo pissed. He wants nothing more right now then to catch these people doing this to our neighborhood. And since the cops don't do anything.  Steven is taking it upon himself to try to catch them.  So everyone make sure your doors are always locked. Your garage is always closed, and remember you can't trust anybody these days.

It's  A Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday i went to the doctor's for a regular monthly check-up.(note: tomorrow i have my ultrasound to find out if it's a boy or girl. Steven's coming with me too, it's our tradition.)  My doctor starts pushing on my tummy and measures it.  "Keri, you're measuring a bit big"  I would like to do an ultrasound right now to do a body count. I want to make sure there is only one baby in there. WHAT, THERE MIGHT BE TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!!!!!!!!!! Oh no, she wasn't. She brought in the ultrasound machine, and asked me if i wanted to know what the sex of the baby was.  Absolutely, i want to know!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting for 20 weeks!!!!!!...  But then started to tell her.......but don't tell me! The doctor looked at me kinda puzzled. I told her that I have to wait until Thursday, my husband is going with me, and that it's our thing to go together to the ultrasound. And that we were very excitied to go together.  I would just feel horrible if i found out before him!!! "Wow, Keri your husband should buy you a great big treat for that!" He should !!!!! Well she did the ultrasound, i got to see the face and heart beat, and LEGS!!!!!!

I have to admit.... I am weird!!! I haven't been feeling my baby kick, just the flutters, so i was under the impression... MY Baby doesn't have any legs! I told this to my doctor, so during the ultrasound , she made sure to show me the legs, feet and toes. Oh, by the way there was only ONE baby in there.  THANK HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So tomorrow is the BIG DAY.  I'll be posting it tomorrow to let you all know if it's a boy or girl!  Keep your fingers crossed for me. And pray that i'm having a girl!!!!!!!!!  Oh and one more thing.  Since i'm measuring big, i might be further along than i thought, which is always great news. I'll find out tomorrow as well, wish me Luck.

ZOO DAy!

We finally made it to the Zoo a couple of days ago.  And it was well worth the wait. I have been begging Steven since it started getting warm, if we could go to the Zoo.  He always replied, no I'm busy!!!! I've been to the Zoo with the kids without him a couple of times.  But i really wanted him to come along at least once. I don't know what made him change his mind, but he finally said yes! And that's all that matters to me!
We had a late start. We got to the Zoo around 3:00. The HOtTEST part of the day. I thought i was going to die!!!!!! It didn't phase the kids though, they were running around and were so excited to be at the Zoo with their Daddy.  I asked Blaise what animals he wanted to see. He just wanted to go on the train.  The animals were cool but he was there for the train ride. Brogan, he just loved the whole experience!!!   Dad was on camera duty.  Here are the photos he took of the big day.  Not many animals.... why are they always asleep .....or no where to be found ..... leave me a comment if you have ever seen the polar bears or the jaguars, or the really big seals. Or anything cool for that matter.

  Giddy up Cowboy!
The one and only Elephant.
Brogan proud of himself for climbing this monkey thing.
Cheese!!!!!!!
My cute little family.  The boys all excited, about to take off on the fast train ride.    Top speed 3mph!  It was really relaxing for us parents.  Cool breeze and off our feet for a half hour!
Dinosaurs.  That was Blaise's favorite animal there!!!
The black bear taking a nap!
The eagles.
my chickadees.

And last but not least the first ever sighting of a jaguar.  Do you see it? Well all and all we had a fabulous day at the Zoo.  Thanks Dad for the great Day!!!

The Pearson's Are ALIVE!!!!

I thought it was time that i get back to blogging!!!! (it has been awhile, sorry.)  But we are alive and are all doing well!  This has been a really busy July for us! I had my first major cupcake job. It went really well. Couldn't have gone any smoother!!!! Steven has been busy with work. He doesn't get a day off.  And the kids.... boys will be boys!!!!  We had an amazing fourth of july.  Steven's brother Jeremy was in town.  That was fun.  We got to go camping and boating for the first time this summer.  (and it was about time!!!!! ) I love camping.  i hope we can go at least one more time before the rain starts. Here are some random pictures of my cupcakes all 435 of them, to be exact.  And some pictures of the boys!!!! What kind of mom would i be if i didn't put pictures of them on here.  And a picture of Steven's latest purchase. His motorcycle!!!  And my big fat tummy! Enjoy!!!!!
These were my favorite.  I thought they were sooo cute.  And they did take the longest to make.
I loved these too! Little chocolate fudge sundaes With a cherry on top!! And don't forget the sprinkles!!!

WE'RE BACK!!!!!!!!!

Steven and I just got back from our little getaway trip. We celebrated our Fifth wedding anniversary!!! We had an amazing time!!! We started off our trip in Seaside.  WE got there around 5:00.  We checked into the Shilo and got our room.  Dropped off all our stuff and went to see some of the cool stuff that Seaside has to offer.  And I can tell you i wasn't really impressed! They have one major road with shops, and arcades. The stores were all ghetto, and smelt really bad, except for the Roxy store, that was nice!!! The arcade would have been cool if we were 15, but the did have some good food! And the beach was awesome.                                                                                           Here is the first sunset we got to watch on our trip.  I ended up taking twelve pictures of the different sunsets we got to see on our trip.  I don't know what it is about the sunset.  but i can't help myself, i just take tons of pictures of it.

Here I am feeling like crap. It was horrible timing, let's just say that.  Don't go on a vacation when your 8 weeks prego and have horrible all day sickness!!!! Won't do that again!!!!

Here's my Babe!! We got on the beach and saw that everyone was having little campfires.  I wanted one!! But of course didn't plan ahead and had nothing to make a fire.  Steven was eyeing  the beach and saw someone kicking out there fire.  He ran over there and asked if he could take their wood. Of course he could. So he brought it back and ended making a fire.  Your the best!!!!!! I actually was impressed!!! I  didn't think he could get it started.  But he did and it did the job. Keep us warm.
Here's another picture of the sunset that night.
We woke up the second day and drove down the 101 to Lincoln City.  We stopped in every little town. Not really to see them. But for me to get out and throw up!! Horrible i know.  It wasn't fun. But we did get to see some stuff that we wouldn't normally see.  Here at Pacific Beach are what they call the Twin Rocks.  Very pretty.
We also stopped at all those tourist spots of the side of the road were you can take pictures, for me to throw up.  But we managed to take some pictures as well.  Might as well make the best of it right?  soo here in the distance is a little house.
Steven catching up on his history about the light house.  And can i just say that  I have the best hubby around.  He was soo nice to me, even though i was quiet a handful.
Here's just another rock.  Pour Steven wanted to hike down there and walk around, but i just wasn't feeling good enough. Maybe next time!
And a couple more pictures of the rocks!!! Much prettier in person
We finally made it to Lincoln City.  And this was the best part of the trip!!!! The Star Fish Manor.  This place is amazing. (thanks Jenn) It was by far the highlight of the trip, besides shopping!!!! Super quiet, no kids allowed, very clean, and very romantic. if you ever go to lincoln City you must stay here. you won't regret it.
Here's my favorite picture i took of the sunset on that night. This was the view we had form our room.  We could have sat on our bed to watch it but it was so nice outside.
Again the sunset! How beautiful.
Here is a picture of our jacuzzi tub in our room. Again this place is awesome.
And our bed which was soooo comfortable. It was like sleeping on clouds.
We went to alot of different beaches.  This one was in Taft.  Me feeling good, for once during the trip.
WE got to see some seals.  They were cute. Jumping in the water and playing around. It was fun to watch!
The one and only picture we got taken with each other.  I hate to ask people to take our picture. So for that we only got one.
Steven acting a little shy around the topless mermaid!
Here we are leaving Taft.
we took a lot more picture, but i won't bore you with them.  We went to the outlets one day.. WE stayed at the casino on our last night but i was feeling way to sick that day to take any pictures.  We ate at some fabulous places. Kyllos was great.  Thanks Gina for the tip.  And  even went to see a movie on Saturday.  All in all the trip was very relaxing and romantic. Thanks Steven for a fabulous time.  you are the best.  I love you! Happy Five years Babe!  And to many more!
